"Make Grace a Way of Life”
God has made grace available to everyone; however, believers must choose to make grace their way of life. Your heavenly Father is a not a god of ambiguity or vagueness or uncertainty. He has specific instructions and a very specific way for everything. In fact, God has a way for health, God has a way for healing, God has a way for finances, God has a way for marriage, God has a way for families and more. And, in God, life is good. When your life is in God and in His grace (Jesus), things go right; and, the few things that don’t seem to go right for you, God is behind the scenes, working everything out together for your good. If you want to live a good life, then you must choose a grace lifestyle. If you want to be delivered, set free, stress-free, and full of righteousness, peace and joy, then you want to choose the grace way and make grace your way of life.
Grace came by Jesus Christ. John 1:17 says, the law was given by Moses (a servant), but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (the Son). Jesus Christ came and personally brought grace and truth. The law and the old covenant in the Old Testament have been made obsolete (Hebrews 8:13 AMP), and now Jesus -- the Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One and His Anointing -- has come and mediated a new and better covenant with better promises (Hebrews 8:6). Jesus Christ makes all the difference. Grace is here now, so we must choose to live by grace by seeking God’s instructions and God’s ways and relying totally on the finished works of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Grace).
Salvation is a grace gift from God. Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Salvation is more than going to heaven when you die. Salvation in the Greek is sozo (verb - save) or soteria (noun), and it is all encompassing. It covers the now as well as the after while, over yonder, by and by. By grace, you are healed, delivered, set free, have peace of mind, a good marriage, able to teach bible study, free to worship, able to teach Believe Right, Live Right, forgive people, love everybody, give up your right for the other person’s wrong, etc. Salvation has everything to do with what we believe, and we believe it includes everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).
God has a specific way to do everything. In Genesis 2:16-17, we find God gave Adam very specific instructions: Freely eat of all the trees except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God is a god of specifics and has a certain way to do everything. Even in Exodus 25:40, He gave Moses very specific instructions to “build everything according to the pattern.” Therefore, when we read about Cain and Abel’s offerings in Genesis 3, we must remember, God had already told them what to bring and how to bring Him an offering. Instead of accepting God’s way, Cain chose to approach God on the basis of his own merit or personal worthiness. He chose to offer to God the fruits of the ground, which God had cursed. He presented the product of his own toil, the work of his own hands, and God refused to receive it (Genesis 4:5). Let’s not be like Cain and do “our own thing.” Let’s do things God’s way – the grace way – and make grace our way of life!
Think It, Believe It, Say It, Possess It: Thank You Father for providing us and sending us Your grace by Your Son, Jesus the Christ, who is Grace. I now choose to live a victorious, successful, abundant life – the good life, the grace life – excelling in every area of my life. I am so grateful for access to Your grace, knowing that all I need is found in You. I choose to make grace my way of life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!!
