Win Over Guilt and Condemnation

Focus/Meditate On This:

We win over condemnation and guilt by lifting up Jesus out of a strong relationship with Him. Grace came and took care of guilt, condemnation and shame. When we accepted Jesus into our hearts, we received righteousness and freedom from the penalty of sin (death). In our freedom, we soar like eagles flying high above worldly things without the weight of sin, always going higher and higher in God. Righteousness is the way out of sin not a license to sin. Let’s begin to declare that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and sin will cease. There is freedom in our declaration!

  • Walk in Victory. Think about the goodness of Jesus, talk about His goodness, and condemnation and guilt cannot come in. Lift Him up out of your strong relationship with Him, and He will protect you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). God has forgiven us for all of our sins by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, making us the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Now that we have been declared righteous, we cannot go back to being unrighteous. Practice declaring your righteousness so that when trials come, you will know how to respond. Just as a bar of gold maintains its value regardless of its outward appearance or its location, our righteousness is just as valuable now as it was when God gave it to us. God continues to set us free as we proclaim our righteousness daily. Walk in victory by declaring that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

  • Grace Has Appeared to All. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law (1 Corinthians 15:56). Laws heighten our sinful nature. (For example: It is not until you are told not to do something that you have a strong desire to do it). Grace brings life and light, but the law brings death and darkness. It is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats, should take away sins (Hebrews 10:4); but, this man (Jesus), after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God (Hebrews 10:12). Father God instructed Jesus to, “Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool,” and He is instructing us to do the same today. We are burning up fuel by recounting our sins while Father God promises, “I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more” (Hebrews 8:12). We cannot afford to think on our wrongdoings and weaknesses for as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Let’s meditate on this truth: There is therefore now no condemnation for our sins. Jesus is THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, and we have the power and His permission to bring into captivity every thought to His obedience (2 Corinthians 10:5).

  • It’s a Heart Thing. Father God promises to put His laws into our hearts, and in our minds will He write them (Hebrews 10:6). Let’s listen, receive and respond with faith to His promises (His Word). Believe in your heart that the more you come to God, it is a new and living way. He instructs us in Proverbs 4:23, above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Lastly, if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved (Romans 10:9). Let’s start declaring today that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus until it enters our hearts, for with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:10).

  • Think It, Believe It, Say It, Possess It: Thank You, Lord Jesus, for lifting us up and out of whatever comes to weigh us down. We are so thankful for Your love, grace, mercy, and the free gift of righteousness. We are grateful that this free gift has been made available to all and is providing life and light to show how perfect we are only IN You and because of Your blood! In Jesus’ name. Amen!
